Former AWS Marketplace GTM leader launches Crucible

Rather than advise from the outside, Crucible puts an operator in the seat to build a company's revenue engine — then hands it off and leaves.

SEATTLE, WA — July 2, 2026 — Crucible, an embedded go-to-market (GTM) firm for B2B technology companies, today announced its launch. The firm is founded by Nav Kaul, who built and led the GTM program behind AWS Marketplace — spanning 500+ independent software vendors (ISVs) and roughly $240M in GTM-driven revenue — and previously grew a Dell enterprise business from $200M to $500M over nine years.

Crucible is built around a single idea: most outside help arrives as a slide deck and settles in as a permanent retainer. Crucible does the opposite. One operator embeds inside the client's team, takes over the growth function, and drives it against a specific revenue number agreed on before the engagement starts. When the system runs on its own, Crucible hands over the trained team, the playbook, and the live dashboards — and leaves.

“Agencies send you a report. I own your number,” said Nav Kaul, founder of Crucible. “I sit in the pipeline meetings, carry a revenue target with the client's name and mine on it, and build the machine that hits it. The goal was never to be needed forever. It's to build something that keeps running after I'm gone.”

The firm offers four entry points tuned to where a company is stuck: Enterprise (moving from SMB wins to buying-committee, seven-figure deals), AWS / Cloud (turning a Marketplace listing into compounding co-sell pipeline), Fractional CMO (a marketing leader in the seat in weeks, owning the pipeline number), and SaaS (building the full go-to-market motion from the ground up).

Kaul's operator track record includes building AWS Marketplace channels from zero. In one engagement, enterprise observability company AppDynamics went from no Marketplace motion to a $26M revenue line over four years — built through the listing, private offers, and co-selling with the AWS field.

“Matillion grew roughly 100% year over year for the last four years, and we look at our relationship with Nav as a critical factor in our continued success,” said the Chief Marketing Officer of Matillion Inc.

Crucible takes a small number of engagements per year so each receives full attention. Engagements are scoped, fixed-term, and designed to be handed off.

About Crucible

Crucible is an embedded go-to-market firm for B2B technology companies across enterprise software, AWS/cloud, and SaaS. Instead of advising from the outside, Crucible embeds an operator who owns a defined revenue number, builds the system to hit it, and hands it off so it runs without them. Founded by Nav Kaul — architect of the AWS Marketplace GTM program (500+ ISVs, ~$240M GTM-driven revenue) and a 20-year enterprise GTM operator.
